What initially served our orientation and safety needs, today is present in abundance. Artificial light sources, increasingly being used as integrated element of architecture and the public areas, react interactively with the environment and passers­by, thereby moving things into a right, or possibly wrong, light. In itself invisible, the immaterial light has the power to make matter visible for us: objects become three­dimensional, surfaces receive structures, colours begin to shine.  The exhibition «Licht­Raum» dedicates itself to the qualities of light and shadow and allows insight into their phenomenology. Installations and experiments allow the audience to get to know the light phenomena more closely and to understand them through one's own experiences.
