Design is a mirror of the situation of a country and its society. Criss & Cross combines the diversity of actual products with the longstanding tradition of designs from Switzerland. Arranged around five large wooden travelling cases, 400 items tell the story of treasures, small machines, of graphic designs, and show the actual state of the design in Switzerland. The exhibition was realized as the Swiss contribution to the 5th Biennale of Architecture in autumn 2003 in São Paulo.
